1.   Organizing Authority

The organizing authority is the Sarasota Sailing Squadron.
2.   Rules
This regatta will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) and the ISCA Class Rules.
3.   Eligibility
The regatta is open to all US Sunfish Class and International Sunfish Class Members who are women.
4.   Registration & Fees
4.1 Registration is $80 per boat. All registrations received after Sept. 12th, 2010 will be charged a $15 late fee.
Registration fee includes entertainment and snacks Friday night, dinner Saturday night, 1 t-shirt, lunch Saturday, complimentary beer and water and pizza after the race Sunday.
4.2 Online Registration is available at sarasotasailingsquadron.org. Extra dinner tickets and t-shirts are also available through the online registration. Registration may also be mailed with check payable to SSS to 1717 Ken Thompson Parkway, Sarasota, FL 34236.

5.1 Friday, Oct. 1
1400 Practice Race Warning
1700 Registration, Pre-Registration-Check In
1900-2200 Trolley Tour of Downtown Sarasota
5.2 Saturday, Oct. 2
0900-1000 Registration, Pre-Registration-Check In
1200       Skippers Meeting
1300 Warning Signal for first race of the day
1800 Sarasota Yacht Club Pool Party/Supper
5.3 Sunday, Oct. 3
1100 Warning Signal for first race of the day
1500 No Race to begin after 1500.
1530 Awards and pizza
6.   Sailing Instructions
Sailing Instructions will be available at Registration.
7.   Measurement
The Class measurer or his representative will be on site to do measurement.
8.   Venue
The regatta will be held in Sarasota Bay.
9.   Scoring
9.1 One race constitutes a regatta.
9.2 When fewer than 6 races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores.
10. Prizes
Awards will be given out according to the number of registrants and to the first junior and first master.
11. Disclaimer of Liability
Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See RRS 4, Decision to Race. The organizing authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.
12. Storage
Boats can be stored free of charge for the regatta at the Sarasota Sailing Squadron from 9/15-10/6, 2010.
13. Camping
Camping is available at no charge at the SSS.
14. Boat Charters
Boats for charter are available from Tackle Shack 1-800-537-6099, www.tshack@com
15. Local Boats
Boats are available from local sailors on a first come, first serve basis, as available, call Michelle Lee, 941-350-7444 or email milee@hotmail.com.
16. Housing
Housing is available with local sailors, please call or email Bridget Smith (941) 349-2774 or bdshectorspup@comcast.net with requests.
17. Hotels/Motels
Hotel/Motel Information is available at www.sarasotasailingsquadron.org.

    Is there camping available for the Women’s Sunfish NA Championship? If so, is the camping at the racing site? If not, where is the closest camp grounds. Thank you.
