Great turnout at the 3rd Annual Turkey Run
Wow!!! Great sailing results this past weekend at the 3rd Annual Turkey Run hosted by Regatta Pointe Marina in Palmetto; a 10.73nm pursuit race which is a SBYA Boat of the Year event. 17 entrees and 7 were from SSS. At the Starting Line…
17 Skippers participated in the Great Pumpkin Regatta yesterday (including 5 Flying Scots). Results show that Capt'n Kevin Rattigan aboard Water Rat won both races followed by Ray Pilot skippering Flirt and Scots and H2O finishing third in the Non-Spin class. Jason Roznos won the Cruising class followed by that big 41' Bristol Moonfleet and sailing his Chrysler 22 Treo for the last time Robert Hindle finished third.… Read full article

Wow!!!! What a great turnout for the Regatta Pointe Manatee River "Sailstice" Regatta. SSS sailors took home most of the the Podium hardware!! In Spinnaker, Misty was nosed out by Bob Armstrong on Mischief (we are talking feet here). Three J-24's were bunched together in the spin fleet. Solitude in the non-spin fleet led the entire fleet for the first nine miles and then was overtaken by the Spin fleet boats. … Read full article

Participated in the “Breezy” regatta this past month. The captains that left on Friday afternoon competed in the “Sharks Tooth Feeder Race”. RunAway could not leave until Saturday morning and almost missed the race as a strong South wind made getting to the Venice jetty very wet and difficult.
